  • Deck Protecting Grill Mat
    by /u/Prestigious_Pomelo31 on April 15, 2024 at 2:21 am

I just got my first Weber master grill and I am looking for recommendations for a grill mat to protect my wood deck. My yard is all wood deck and some artificial grass which is no option to cook on. I have some paver stones I could use but I would rather find a good quality grill mat since it’s easier to move when I’m not cooking. I’m looking forward to doing my first cook (thinking ribs) but I want to make sure I’m being safe. Thanks submitted by /u/Prestigious_Pomelo31 [link] [comments]

  • First Grease Fire Q2400 – checking for damage
    by /u/AlabasterJefferson on April 15, 2024 at 2:16 am

Hey there, thanks for checking out my post. TL;DR – had a grease fire run for 5-10 minutes and I’m double checking if there’s any part I should check for damage. Tonight I grilled about 8lbs of chicken thighs meal prepping for the week and had my Q2400 running for a bit over an hour due to the batches of thighs. By the end of the hour, I noticed I had a flare up under one thigh and pulled all the food away from the area. However the fat kept dripping and a couple minutes later I had a decent sized grease fire. Taking the food off the grill, I pulled the power, closed the lid and tried […]

  • Best Grill Cover for Genesis II
    by /u/bobsinboulder on April 15, 2024 at 12:35 am

I have a 3 burner Genesis II, Weber’s grill cover only lasted me about 3 years. Now there are a good amount of holes in it that let moisture in. I live in CO so lots of fluctuation with seasonal temperatures. I’m just thinking that there has to be a better option then the black Weber brand covers that absorb a lot of heat. Any recommendations will be appreciated. submitted by /u/bobsinboulder [link] [comments]
